Our team will help you choose the right color for your home, and we offer a free color-matching service. We add a weather bond sealant to our paints, which helps the paint adhere to walls and offers long-lasting protection for your home. Our surveyor will design the project with you and provide advice and assistance throughout the process of transforming your home. Cleaning off
Wash all surfaces thoroughly with our high-pressure water sprayer to clean all areas of old paint & dirt. Remove old paint and any loose, cracked, chipped, or blistering paint with a paint scraper or wire brush and sand it down if required. Take it back to the original timber or brick surface if necessary. Use a wire brush to clean away any rust from metal surfaces and apply a rust cleaner & to free dust from metal surfaces.
Topcoat Property Services uses many types of fillers to repair any deep scratches and cracks in your property. Some of the repairs may require a cement-based filler while other repairs may require expandable filling compounds. Once the filler is dry our team will sand back any repairs to an even surface ready for painting. Our team will use a sealant or filler at ‘seams’ and corners of the house, around areas like windows and doors to give a professional finish to the property.
Preparation
All surface areas will be covered up with drop sheets to prevent any paint stains in unwanted areas. Any surfaces that are not to be painted will be masked up with trade tape, including window frames, door handles, etc. Any furniture or garden ornaments will be removed to a safe place and away from paint or damage.
Aplying the paint
When all surfaces are prepared and ready for paint our team will cut in all areas, including the tops & bottoms of the property, Windows & doors, Tile ends, etc. Upon completion of cutting in, the first cover coat can be rolled onto all surfaces. When the base coat is dry we can begin to roll the final coat onto all surfaces until completely covered. Drying time is essential when applying the second coat, as this will give a smooth even finish.
Our teams have vital experience and skill with painting works and will professionally apply the paint to offer the best quality finish to your home. Completion inspection
An inspection will now be undertaken and if any further coats etc are required our team will roll a third covering to complete the finish of the project. The project manager will inspect the final completed works and any snagging will be carried out at this point. The client will then be asked to inspect the completed work and upon satisfaction will sign off the finished project.
Clean Down
All cover sheets and unused materials will be removed from the site and our team will fully pressure clean all floor areas. The head foreman will then do a check to make sure everything is clean and tidy.
All tools and any unused materials will be removed by our team and transported in one of Topcoat vans.
Sign off contract
Upon total satisfaction of the completed work, the client will be presented with our company Guarantee of 15 years.
INTERIOR PAINTING

Prepare the Room
Remove furniture or move it to the center of the room and cover it with drop cloths.
Remove wall decor, curtains, and any other items on the walls if required.

Cutting In
We paint around windows, doors, corners, and edges by way of cutting in.
Roller work
Ceilings and walls will be rolled until all areas have been correctly coated and allow the first coat to dry completely before applying a second coat
Inspect and Touch Up
Clean Up
Remove painter’s tape before the paint is completely dry and clean off all areas in the room.
Reassemble the Room
Once the paint is fully dry, we will move all furniture back into place and re-hang any pictures or mirrors.
